Endowment Fund

The Conklin Foundation was established to fund and manage programs dedicated to supporting, promoting, and advancing education related to and, scientific research of wildlife conservation, and related efforts that view hunting as a viable wildlife management component. These programs are funded exclusively through generous gifts contributed to the Foundation. To help donors invest more directly in these mission-driven programs, a new fund called the Conklin Endowment Fund was established by The Conklin Foundation’s Board of Directors.

With the tremendous challenges facing the conservation community, the Conklin Endowment Fund will increase support for a number of critical conservation programs of The Conklin Foundation.  These mission-driven activities, including several key outdoor education programs, represent the future of The Conklin Foundation and its missions.

The Conklin Endowment Fund will serve The Conklin Foundation as an endowment fund whereby, according to The Conklin Foundation Spending Policy, a specific percentage of the total value of the fund will be dedicated to approved projects and programs of The Conklin Foundation.  Because only a donor may direct a gift to an endowment, the Conklin Endowment Fund will provide donors the opportunity to invest in the future of The Conklin Foundation and give them the comfort that their gift will provide benefits well into the future as part of the Conklin Endowment Fund.

The primary focus of grants from the Conklin Endowment Fund will be to increase the investment in approved wildlife conservation and , education and research.  The Conklin Endowment Fund will allow The Conklin Foundation to elevate its role and profile in the conservation community and make a difference in the world of conservation for future generations.
